I had to crop it further than I had expected, so it's a little fuzzy. I should have used the zoom lens, this was taken at 1x.

Hello and welcome.
It's pretty good. I'd like to see a little more light on the girl's face. She almost seems to blend in with the background.
But overall it's pretty good for a first shot. There are a lot of really helpful and knowledgable people on this forum that will be able to help you much more than I can (I'm a beginner as well).

Thanks for the input. It was a dreaded noontime shot and on top of that, I've never really shot people before. It wasn't planned or anything, we just went out and took some pics.
