I just love Urbex. Been a couple of times myself and I really enjoyed it. I was with these guys, check some of their photos for inspiration: https://www.facebook.com/croinfiltration
As for the photos, you could use some basic photographic knowledge. No offense. For example, the door on the last shot are really interesting. You could've tried to move to the right and catch them and the window (?) on the left in the frame. Or just doors. Or go in closer and take a closep of them (even though that's not urbex-y).
It's usually not about the camera, it's about the photographer.
