One year anniversary

I was looking through some photos from a year ago and had forgotten that I'd grabbed a few shots from a day when I was supposed to be one of the two subjects.

I'd been given strict instructions to not bring my camera - but smuggled it to the venue and grabbed a few shots during the preparations.

One of the added benefits of a female photographer is that she can also do the 'models' make up, and she can demonstrate poses without looking weird too.

Yes, I think number 1 tells a story - lucky shot taken on a day to remember.

As a photographer you make your own luck by being in the right place at the right time with the right equipment AND getting the shot.

Yes - it was a day full of joyous fun. A group of friends (three attractive girls and one ugly guy!) having fun with cameras, reflectors, flashguns and traditional costumes, plus a regular supply of spicy Thai food.

The mirror works really well! The viewer is not really seeing you but seeing what you see when you look at yourself in the mirror, which is one way in which the subject and the viewer can see the same thing and connect via that reflection that we share. Gorgeous dress, by the way! Thanks for sharing!
