In the afternoon it got warmer and the snow was packable. Here is a shot of a snowman looking a little mocked by the peanut, er, pumpkin gallery.

He didn't last long. The four year old's engineering skills need some refining. The snowman was on the ground within a couple minutes. I guess the warmth of the daytime sun wasn't any help either. We got to four degrees above freezing by late afternoon.
