Like the texture of the open thingy lol in this shot. I'd say the background is a little blown though, you might want to pull down the exposure a bit to bring out some more detail

I like it, and I think the previous comment is exactly wrong

I like the ambiguous blurred out background, and think if anything you should brighten the whole thing up. The shadowed side of the object feels flat to me, and I'd like to see a little texture in there. Watch the vignette, I don't know if you added it in post, but it's bordering on not-subtle-enough.

Agree with previous comment. Tough light to work with, but the best you can do is lighten the mid-tones for more detail. I'm not sure something closer to a square crop wouldn't be better for this one. I think there's just too much empty space on the left.

I agree, the exposure is not blown, the image seems to have a nice balance. Very well done!

Thanks for your comments! I was not thrilled with the processing but couldn't put my finger on it. I think I prefer this version. I kept the comments in mind while I worked on it.
