My boyfriend sells boats, I took these photos last summer before I got my first "grown up" camera. Any ideas on how I can make these photos better please feel free to share the love.

This one was taken at the dealership

This one was taken on flathead lake, in Polson MT (I think those are the rocky mountains in the background)

Can you see them now?

No. 1 - Perhaps the empty space to the left and above the boat could be used to capture the entire boat and trailer ?
No. 2 - Wouldn't the subject look better with feet ?

Sorry, Karalee, no. Just the "red x of death". And even when I tried to access your photos by right-clicking the x, then copying and pasting the properties, this was all I got

HTTP/1.1 404 Object Not Found

A pity!

Maybe after having written this reply things will miraculously change - wouldn't be the first time for it to happen.
