Organic Lines of Two Kinds

Love the patterns! What is it crawling on?

I think the shot would be strengthened by cloning out the holes.

At least the caterpillar is in its natural environment. I can't go to zoos anymore.

P.S. Keep the holes - I don't think the composition works as well without them - just my 2 cents

The caterpillar is on a leaf right ? Keep the holes I like it as is.

Actually, the caterpillar is on a bear's butt - literally. They had these 6-foot bear statues that different artists had painted and this was crawling around on one's posterior.

I tried fixing the holes. I didn't like it as well. Had there been only one or two, they would be gone. But I felt there were enough to leave them.

Thanks for the comments.

Nice. If it was me, I might selectively sharpen or increase structure of the lines on the yellow wall.
It would enhance the connection between the lines of the caterpillar and the lines of the wall.

I was going to say that the holes looked too artificial for a natural background, but for an artificial background they should stay.

Nice caterpillar though!

It would be interesting to see this in B&W with a bit of contrast. That would emphasize the forms (specifically the various lines).
