Osprey has returned

None here yet either,I checked 6 platforms I check once a week and there all dead right now including the traffic cone pole.When they comes hope its like last summer, Osprey in Branford CT was crazy amounts of them.

Very cool! From what I remember learning in school, the Osprey make the largest nest of any marine bird. I stumbled in here after taking off a while and getting my first outing with my new big lens. The Osprey are active here in West Florida. I took these today on Gulf Breeze at the Gulf Islands National Seashore. I hope to visit this spot several times over the next few weeks to get better shots and practice! It was an ugly grey day today but I was itching to use the 150-450mm lens.

I have well over a 1,000 shots of Ospreys but never pass up a shot at another one...they are one of my favorite raptors.

Yeh they are awesome, so much personality and just a joy to watch.
