thanks for looking!

Nope, definitely not sick of 'em! Another fine fine series of shots, Raymond. 2, 3, 10 and 12 are my faves. Really love these.

Dang man...these belong in a book buddy.
I chased that second bird around this morning. Had no chance of getting a shot. It sings nice tho

No. Not sick of them.
Just "green with envy" :meh: .

(Ah no. Not really. All I wish for is to at least SEE our birds when I hear that I am right underneath them!)

Well to be honest with you Ray and I know this may hurt...... no

nope, not from you at least... some more perfect pics!

Thanks everyone... I did not know that #2 is a Catbird.. I have never seen one before this, and I am surprised that such a pretty bird would have such a horrible name!

Thanks you 2...

Matt.. I thought 11 was amost junk.. it is a fairly heavy crop, and the blow out on the breast could not be saved. ( I think it was about a 75% crop!)

more great shots ray, i also really enjoyed 10 & 12...

SICK Of them? Why would you ask? hehe NO way! I love yoru photography Raymond and it really inspires me.. Love #7

great shots...again! looks like you have all the right equipment for bird pics.

i would guess that the catbird gets its name from the sounds it makes. if you listen you will hear them making a pretty constant mewing type sound that sounds pretty cat like. just a guess on my part.

they are very common in parts of illinois and prefer pretty thick cover it seems.

luck!

thanks everyone.. Yes Squacks, very true.. I hear them in many places, but rarely do I get a clear shot of one.
