Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
Ok, I have been working on these without much luck. I am planning on going out tomorrow night. Before now I was just using my Vivitar 383 flash on the camera. I now will be going off camera with it inside an umbrella.

I am looking for some hints, on settings. I will mess with them, when I get down there, just curious what advice I can get here.

Thanks!

I have been working through some of the same issues. As usual in this hobby the answer is "it depends". I found a good place to start was ISO 400, F 5.6, 1/100. Then adjust the flash power accordingly. You can obviously expose for the ambient by slowing down the shutter / opening up aperture, at the risk of some ghosting. For me that was a good place to start and then a changed things around to get more comfortable with what I was trying to do.

Good luck
