Outside the Watchtower

After countless attempts to get a result I like out of this photo,...

"There must be some way out of here," said the joker to the thief,
"There's too much confusion, I can't get no relief.
Businessmen, they drink my wine, plowmen dig my earth,
None of them along the line know what any of it is worth."

"No reason to get excited," the thief, he kindly spoke,
"There are many here among us who feel that life is but a joke.
But you and I, we've been through that, and this is not our fate,
So let us not talk falsely now, the hour is getting late."

All along the watchtower, princes kept the view
While all the women came and went, barefoot servants, too.

Outside in the distance a wildcat did growl,
Two riders were approaching, the wind began to howl.

i mean...i think its ok, its not my favorite from you, it just seems kinda plain....and quite frankly, i dont get what this song has to do with this picture.

and as a final insult, as much as i love bob dylan, i think jimi hendrix did a better job with this song

I've found my personal favorites sometimes vary quite a bit from my more popular shots. I like the weirdness of the landscape. There are certain scenes that strike me as 'dream state' images. For some reason I remember thinking about the lyrics to the song (rather than the song so much) that entire day. But whether Dylan, Hendrix or Trower were the performer, Dylan wrote it.
