Thanks, He gave us a number of passes, so I was able to have quite a few tries.
I use shutter priority for propeller aircraft so getting the speed right is not too difficult. 1/125 to 1/250 generally works OK (depending slightly on aircraft performance & throttle position). Helicopters tend to want a slower speed but I find it hard to hold a 500mm steady enough for 1/60 - More practice needed
