Its amazing how slow you can go with Oly IBIS. 1/8 and sharp. I don't have one but I tried the 12-100mm IS Pro, and when you add the sync'd IS between lens and camera it even more crazy stable.

Great shots.

Thanks! Definitely, the IBIS is amazing. I feel like I'm always swaying or moving in some way, even when I try my best to stay still and not breathe. Ugh. So, it's pretty great. I'd love to try it with the 12-100... What did you think of the lens when you tried it?

I thought it was great. A perfect travel lens. I have the 14-150 and was original looking at the other two Pro lenses, 12-40 and 45-150, to replace them. But now I am thinking about getting the 12-100mm to avoid lens changes and hoping they come out with another IS pro to bridge that lens and the 300mm. I know its f4 and the f2.8 would be nice but I mostly shoot in good light. I have the 17mm F1.8 for those low light situations.

Thanks for the insight. I currently have the 12-40 (which I love), but was eyeing the 40-150 f/2.8. I do like the faster 2.8, but I hate switching lenses when touring places and traveling (combination of feeling exposed and making others wait on me). This is one reason why I typically have the 14-150 on my camera.

The 12-100 would seem to solve that problem by giving me some extra, much needed reach. Hmm. The 80mm eq. would be kinda long for travel on the 40-150 f/2.8, and then I'd be in the same position as I am now--needing to switch lenses.

I have the 17mm, as well, but I feel like I rarely use it. I need to use it more.

I'm talking like I can afford either lens, haha.
