My God! It's going to drop right out of the sky with its rotors stopped!

Helicopters are deceptively tricky to photograph -- ideally, you'd like to see at least *some* rotor blur while keeping everything else tack-sharp. This is a common problem with prop planes, too, though you typically see an effective prop blur on them well before you see rotor blur on a helicopter (see the tail rotor in your first shot).
Anyway, I like the second photo a bit more than the first -- the dangling soldiers add a bit more interest, IMO. Interesting processing, too -- it almost has a lithograph-like feel.
