Both shots look very good to me.I like the posing in relation to the lighting quite a bit in the second shot!

Dan, you're getting quite good with lighting, posing and retouching. In the first image her expression and engagement with the camera are excellent. In the second her posture is that of a dancer and her emerging upward into the light is meaningful.
