Panoramic Photos

Is there a free program that will stitch together panoramic photos and keep them in their original size? I found one program but once the photos are stitched together, the quality of the images went way down.

The trouble is that most of the "free" programs are shareware which is crippled until you pay for it. I've used Panorama Factory's trial edition and it was pretty good. http://www.panoramafactory.com/
