Paper lights

Still getting used to camera settings. I don't have a tripod yet, my brother is bringing me one in two weeks but I still thought I'd give a go at taking some pics of these lights in low lighting. I think they turned out ok.

Not too bad really. I like the way you included the light cords in the first shot, and showed the inner support ribs in good focus, then on the second shot you moved the focus and brought a second lamp into the composition. Really,for such plain subjects, you did pretty well. Not too shabby!
