I dont like that the light is hanging so low it is unnatural. rather than the wallpaper coming apart at the seams ther should be some wall cracks to show more age than your showing here. The bear look's to period and the tricycle also is period. Other than my 2 cents it is a cool scene. Whats with the black corner in the upper right? distraction

Neat. Evocative. Sure it looks staged, because it is staged. The objects appear to me well placed in the frame, and they work together to create a pretty powerful reaction from me, and what the hell else could anyone ask for in a photograph, eh?

Kind of a Francesca Woodman feel here, mostly from the peeling wallpaper.

The more I look at this, the more I think 'this is truly excellent'

The paper negative element is pretty much lost, this looks like a straight b&w photo to me (and to me, that's a good thing - I don't like process poking its nose in). You might not be happy about that?

Had to google it. I like that style of work...

Francesca was ok. She might have been great, eventually.

While her work I find a bit thin, ultimately, what she had was clarity of vision, in spades. That goes a hell of a long way to making an artist.

Very nice! I don't mind the staging at all. I like the texture of the image; the peeling paper, the bare wood. :thumbup: Texture as a background to the spartan arrangement of forgotten childhood relics. Yep. It has impact. Good job!
