With the first, what were your intentions? What were you trying to accomplish, what qualities of this scene did you find appealing?

First pic, I simply don't get.
Second pic, guys eyes are closed, you've chop the toes of the girl.

I ususally try not to cut off limbs at weird spots.

I like #2 as your first one is WAY TO DARK to tell what it is you are trying to photograph.

2. The exposure and focus on the girls face are perfect. However, you clipped her toes off, the guys eyes are closed, and there is a very distracting shadow on the two of them.

On the first one I know I was lacking subject. I was walking to take the trash out and thought it would be a cool shot. I wanted the bench be the subject but after photo was taken didnt turn out that way.

To be honest, that subject is very uninteresting, regardless of how it is lit. But that's just my opinion.
