I was just scrolling through and realized that I never got a comment about either of these pics......that bad?

I wouldn't say they are bad but there are some flaws that really stand out. In the first picture the composition is off because her sight-line just goes immediately off the frame rather than going across the frame, and this makes the pole really stand out and draws your eye away from the subject.

The second one much better great composition but the shirt seems a little blown out. Good photo but it just needs a little processing to touch up the contrast and try to tone down the white.
