Nice location. I think a CPL and ND filter(s) would help you out at this time of day. Either that or shoot at an earlier or later time. Another idea is with the contrast would be a b&w conversion.

^^ Agreed! ^^ I like the scene ('though it does lean a little to the right), but it's very blue. Definitely either a few processing tweaks, or as Ron suggested a monochrome.
