Well probably not, but Google Maps are really really cool! (keyhole is cooler btw but you have to pay for that)

I've been cruising the world a little on Google Maps and I've got a few shots of volcanoes in Hawaii thanks to this. Anyway, I thought we could have a thread somewhere with cool/pretty things we find on Google Maps. What do ya think?


And for you special people with Keyhole... well you suck.

Google's basically put together one huge big road map of the US, and has just introduced the UK aswell. But they've also integrated Satellite imagery!!! So you can zoom right in on most places in America and see buildings, cars, monuments etc. Even Oprah .
Yes some people are just strange.

You can 'fly' over the rest of the world too but you can't really zoom in too close on other countries because the details aren't there. That is unless you have Keyhole. http://www.keyhole.com/ which is another thing that Google bought. It's basically the same as Google Maps but you can zoom in to almost anywhere on the planet pretty closely. Download the 7 day trial... it's really really addictive and absolutely awesome!
