Very exploitative

I like the juxtaposition of the tourists and the monks. Technically the light seems a bit flat and the second photo is crooked.

Myanmar has changed dramatically in the last two years - and for the independent traveler, not for the better. Room rates have tripled, tourists just swarm all the usual places and, if you don't have a reservation, you'll be sleeping on a floor. The press of mid-range tourist has swamped accommodations and, except for out of the normal tourist route places, the culture has been distorted terribly.

But they still mention your name.

The depth of field in the 3rd is absolutely incredible the light on the statues in the rear give it that awesome 3rd dimension people strive to get in their photos and the locale makes these even more awesome. Great shots!

What I liked, probably obviously, is that the men were almost identically dressed with quite similar expressions and yet different 'poses', just like the statues of the Buddha. The light was a bonus.
