i can't come up with a good title for this thread, black and white would be too obvious. :grumpy:

1, 2, and 3 are really noisy.

I am not a fan of the square vignetting, but it may just be part of your boarder?

I wish there would be a little more contrast between the cone hat and the water in 1.

In 2, I would have either gone longer or shorter with the shutter speed. It just seems to be in between. I would also get rid of the bird and the shadow on the water in the bottom right.

You cut off part of his foot in 3, but overall, I like the composition.

I would try a closer crop in 4, you have a lot of negative space that does not add much to the image.

I like them. I like the first one the most, it's got a 'east meets west' kinda thing going on.

What ISO were these shot at (exif doesn't say :scratch

? Is the noise from high ISO, or was it added later? Either way, I like it. I've been using high ISOs a lot recently and I'm beginning to actually like noise, lol.

thanks for the comments, there wasn't any noise at all on the original image, i added it on pp while doing the b&w conversion. i was trying for the "old photo" effect.

the vignette, yea, i can't figure out how to make it circlish. 4th image doesn't have vignette, it came out with dark sides. i was thinking it's because of the hood.

iso were 200,

yea, it's really interesting how one common interest brings two different culture together, it's really cool i think.
