at first i thought this was some crazy looking fish. that knot, or whatever, in the middle of the image....i thought that was the eye. interesting composition
That's an "American Sycamore Tree". There's 6 of them in my backyard and I am fascinated by their bark. Here's another photo of a different tree but the bark is what caught my eye. BTW, that "fruit" is the seed pods that are all over those trees. They remind me a little bit of a fig but they're all breaking open now... looks more like thistles once they break apart. ttfn CDL.
