Pharmacology

Being a med student I have plenty of contact with pills, however this is the first time I have ever taken photos of them.

Tried to make them a little bit interesting, some left free, others left in the packets. Used the BNF as the backdrop. BNF = British National Formulary (i.e. the drug/meds bible!).


Added some noise in a couple to try and make them 'arty', not sure how well it has worked.

Would be really appreciative of any feedback.

I like the DOF in #4. I also like the fact that you can't see the table the pills are sitting on. Looks like they're suspended in mid-air.

#4 is my fave too, but I'm starting to be fond of #5 and #6 too. I think the grain works a lot better in this example.

Here's a sharp version of #1. I think it's better than the grain version.

#4 is my favorite. I can't stand noise in shots. Gotta love DOF shots though!

This is one of those examples where grain is good. I really like the high noise/grain shots!

I like #4 very much. Not too fond of the others, though, as the pills seem a bit too "artificially" organized for the shot (but this is just me).
