After WW2 many American Willis jeeps were left behind in the Philippines.
These formed the basis for the ubiquitous 'Jeepney' being a major mode of transport in the Philippines to this day. Basically a stretched coach body planted on the back of an original WW2 Willis Jeep.
Sarao Motors is the major local firm designing and manufacturing the Jeepney now and derivatives such as this example going back to it's original roots and thus full circle!
