Thanks everyone 
There were quite a few really great shots. The one that beat me for 1st place in that category was a telephoto shot of the edge of a waterfall, with fall colors refecting in the water. I was pretty disappointed with the best in show though, I'm afraid. Oh well, I'll try again next year
