Do we need to get the model releases of each and everyone while doing a city shot or while on a photo journalism assignment?

You should not need a model release for photos that are used for journalistic purposes. There are laws/rules that relate to "fair use"...look it up.

I'm not a pro; photog, Lawyer etc...so find out for sure rather than get into trouble.

Okay, what if I needed to take a couple of city shots?? People are bound to be in any random city shot. Is that okay to post it somewhere? I'm talking about a scenario where it is not for a journalistic purpose!
