Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
Hello . I am endeavoring to start the long procrastinated task of doing my first culling on quite a few SD cards... I am basically wanting to use my PC to go through my photos on my SD card and to delete the obvious trash photos(before i transfer to my hard drive) without having to confirm every delete. I want it to be gone as soon as I click on it. can't be bothered with clicking twice on every photo. Does anyone have any ideas, or know of any particular free software that will allow me to do this one step delete?..

On JPEG images: Do a slide show using Graphic Converter, and hit the delete button on junker images, which will be sent, immediately,to the trash/recycle bin. At the end of the show, empty/delete the trash/recycle bin. This is a good way to literally see the image, evaluate it, and then hit either Advance, or Delete. Very fast.

There will always be at least two steps to delete a file, just for your protection. You could hold down the Ctrl Key and click on a bunch of them - then hit Delete. Do perhaps 10 at a time??

That's what I do. Select several files as possible on one screen, the delete them en masse.

Ok ,Thanks..I will give that a go..Couple or few years ago I remember being able to scroll through my pictures full screen and just hit the delete on my keyboard and it would delete it without asking me a second time. I'm not sure if it was on Picasa or some Windows app.. Would do the multiple select option with the photos in thumbnail View but I cannot see well enough to make a judgement without having a decent-size thumbnail so that I could tell if it was sharp or slightly blurry..Thanks for your imput..

Disable the delete confirmation dialog box and you can delete to trashcan immediately.. But like most here, I delete en-masse - but I transfer to HDD LR Catalogue and then go through them there, mark as rejected the ones I don't want and then press Cmd+Backspace once done to delete all to trash.

Do you store images on your SD cards ? Normally I detete whats on the card as soon as I have uploaded to my PC.
