I like everything that's not just like every other bride picture out there... so... I like it

one question though... did she have a large nose or something/why not full profile?

Thanks! And no, not a large nose :lol:

I think for me I like the head being turned. In actuality, she was looking at me, but the image feels as though she's looking away, almost thought the open door. I feel like if she had a complete profile, it would feel like she was staring at a wall...

I was thinking more like not looking to the wall but at the bouquet profile ... but, it's nice like this...

I like it a lot, and I agree that it appears as if she is looking out toward the horizon, giving this a very "contemplative" feel to it.
I just don't like that it feels unbalanced, because of the "border" created by the background on three sides, but not on the fourth.
If this were mine, I think I'd attempt cloning the right side "border" on the left as well, to completely frame her.

Thanks! I thought about the unbalanced feel, myself. I also wish there were a tad more room above her head. I think I'll play with it a little and see what it looks like with a border of some kind on the right.

Ok, so here's the story.. She's actually MY bride! We got married last Saturday and I had made an arrangement with the photographer we hired to have a little fun with some photography inception. We carved out a little time for me to take photos of my new wife, while he took photos of me taking photos of her.. I didn't have much time, and it was more about the images he was capturing, but I got a few keepers out of it! Here's one showing more of her dress. I think the detail I like best about the silhouette is the buttons down her back, and the others is the lace. She was a beautiful bride!
