Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
OK I got my new backdrop stand and a white roll of paper today and was doing some experimenting. Now I know the lighting kinda sucks, I am waiting for a bulb for my second light to arrive in the mail. Does anyone have any tips on how to improve this photo?? I am trying to figure out what I should change to make it turn out better. Oh and I know it would have probably been better if she would smile but she was not into it. LOL

The lighting is definitely too harsh, and your color balance is off.

I agree with Alpha about your color balance being off.

I think you can try sharpening the eyes a bit.

The image looks a little soft to me. Im the queen of soft images.. so I cant give you any hints on improving that.

Place the light at approx. 45 degrees to her and bring in a reflector. Look at how the light looks for both light and reflector and practice, practice, practice! Meter your lights or if you don't have a meter then chimp and check your histogram.
