Photo printer

For christmas my parents said I could have a photo printer, and they said they saw one called
Hewlett packard Photo mate or something.
Unfortunatly...I cant find it on the net, and im not sure if its the best or not.
So Id like the advice of the best photographers on the net, and thats your guys.
Any better photo quality printers that dont need a p.c.?
