Thanks ya'll. I was worried about taking pics of a child as they just move move move and I didn't want to mess them all up. once I saw the pics I was so happy and it makes me want to keep working on photographing kids

These are all very good, though I do think the first one could use a bit of flash to help bring out her eyes more. My favorite of the set is #2.

thanks! Yeah, I agree with the 1st one....her eyes are a bit dark. I was using all natural lighting as we were outside. The session was for the mother but she brought her daughter with her so I shot some of the daughter as well. I am terrified of my camera flash. I don't dare use it. But the location was beautiful though.
