And what does the word 'altering' really mean. Alternative to what? What's the right exposure, the right WB? Photography is always subjective. How can you develop a RAW photo without altering? And even if you don't shoot RAW, you set the WB in the camera, the contrast/saturation etc. by chosing the picture style or whatever it's called. Every photographer changes something based on how he sees the scene. How is PP on a computer different from applying changes in the camera? And how is it different from adding filters in front of your lens? And changes while developing film? The only difference is that the PP using computers is not accepted by a group of ignorants. No one forces anyone to edit their pics in photoshop. But saying something is better just because no PP was used is pathetic.
