I wouldn't change a thing. I am very successful.Hey guys,
I have to create an interview for my careers class. If you wouldn't mind taking the time to answer some of the questions, I would REALLY appreciate it.
Thanks
Answering in CAPS to help.
1) What are your job duties as a photographer?
Sales, Advertising, Receptionist, Photographer, Processor.
2) What are three scenarios or situations illustrating your particular job duties?
I shoot several times per week, sell, and market.
3) How would you describe your work setting?
My studio
4) What are the pro's and con's of your work?
Many hours is the con. Lots of money is the pro.
5) How did you decide to get into this field, and what steps did you take to enter this field?
I started as a wire service photojournalist and found I could make more money doing weddings.
6) How did you feel when you entered the field-scared, worried, excited? Why?
I was not worried at all. I had built up the skill over many years of apprenticing and working as a pro photog.
7) How competitive is it to enter the field today?
In Dallas, it is very competitive. Many of the top photogs here are considered "rock stars". We are doing very well.
8) What personal qualities do you feel are most important to have in your work? Why?
Sales and Talent. Why? Because if you can't sell it, there is no use in trying to be a talent.
9) If you could change the past, would you make the same career choice? Why?
