Just want to say hello as im new on here. I have just purchased a Nikon D 5100 with a 18 to 55mm and a 55 to 300mm (i like to take motorsport photos). And a couple of tripods.
Up until last week i was feeling very sad after being made redundant (just before xmas). My job involved quite alot of photography to promote the company i worked for. My photos were used in brochures, adverts, billboards, website and social media pages. When i left it was upsetting saying goodbye to the camera as well as my much loved friends.
But now im ecstatic with my new purchase. I dont wish to take any shots other than for pleasure. I feel so much better and can feel my old self coming back. The company i work for now relies on point and shoot pics.
