Photography in the Age of Narcissism

most of them, except the driving part. Animals do a lot of self grooming and home building.

Seriously? Tell me there Crocodile Hunter when was the last time you were in Lowe's and saw a pair of nesting Eagles picking out tile for the kitchen floor in their nest. How long ago has it been since you saw a kangaroo putting in a pool and sauna in their "back yard?" See many chimps at the hair dressers lately and many pigs buying lipstick. The last time you saw a sheep in a garter belt and stockings was because YOU put it in one, not because it wanted to wear them. Tell me, what animals have you seen lately at Macy's or Kohl's picking out shirts, pants or dresses besides humans? Watch out for those gorillas with sagging over sized pants, they might be in a criminal gang. When was the last time you saw a robin pack up and leave because a black bird moved into the tree next door? Seriously???

If you go out in the woods and get a tick or two on you, do you just leave them on you? If you get lice do you just go oh well and live with them? Hell at least the primates are smart enough to pick off the irritants such as ticks and lice and eat them. They are a good source of protein with out all the crap that humans want and love in their food.

""Man is the noblest work of God" well now who found that out?" Mark Twain.
ignoring the rest of the garbage....

"seriously?"

YES.
you don't see a correlation between human behavior and animal behavior?
About every other person in the world does you meatball.
Well you must live on a very small world then, because the rest of the world doesn't see a correlation between the rest of the animal world and the vicarious acts and vanities of humans. As for the "rest of the garbage" that was exactly what we were talking about when you decided to jump in to the pool.

animal mammal human, same thing common ancestors. humans just developed a tad more intellectually so we can make larger amounts of damage and more complex social systems than a ape.
or so I am thinking.
I could be wrong.
sorry I called you a meatball. I was at least half joking but I guess you cant see the lightheartedness online.
And im sticking with my original premise. By and large, I think most people are good and have good intentions. I don't believe they are narcissists. societal play could have a lot to do with it. I remember seeing something a few years ago about americans scoring higher on certain negative personality traits than say, Europe I guess. But part of that could be learned behavior a reaction to American culture. so you might find nicer photographers in Europe for example or in a less competitive environment than the u.s.a
just a thought.
American culture probably breeds more narcissists just in how our system is set up. could be good, or bad. Depending on the use for such a trait.
