Photos of a friends 2008 R1 and Pittsburgh

Hey guys, first post on here as I just found this forum and I'm always seeking knowledge and skill to perfect my craft.
I'm posting a few I took in 2010 that I recently found the RAW files again and decided to reprocess.

I am now shooting with a DSLR instead of the finepix s100fs used for those pics.

(please excuse the watermarks I had an issue with my Pittsburgh photos being used on business sites before so I tag everything now.

I think that these are processed very very well. In the second one their is a little bit of some halo around the right side of the bike. 1st one looks like it could be used for some type of add.

The first shot is way too dark. The second shot is better and I like the halo that is around the bike. In fact, Id like to see it completely around the bike separating it from the background. That said, the halo should be somewhat subtle almost what you have there on the lower half, but the top part of the bike is too much a part of the background. I like the processing on the second bike.

Yeah I edit for print and then do a quick change to try and match print to the web on a standard monitor. Usually they're way too light lol. I get what you're saying when I print it isn't nearly that dark. As for the halo its more the double vignette I applied than Hdr halo. Also the camera was more a point and shoot too so I'm happy with the results. Thanks for the comments

I like the darkness of the first image. It sets a mood not everything needs to be bight but, I am still a fan of vignette
