Taken in the parking lot of the office I work at during the late afternoon. These photos were done utilizing "reverse lens macro". To achieve this, I chose to use my MC Rokkor 55mm. These are the results, please enjoy:

I think the second one is best, although would look better from a tad bit different angle.
Also on the last 2, the ants blend in too well with the background.

I hear ya about the last two blending in with the background, but are you seeing what I'm seeing in photo #3? Look at the rump of the ant frame right. Sweet! Caught two ants working together to build their hill. One is laying dirt, the other cementing. So I s'pose that could be where man learned to make cement, from watching ants.

Other than the minor issues already noted, some nice work, but... why no shots of uncles?

Because of the cheek-pinching the "ants" gave me as a kid...and they all smelled like roses..
