Photoshop 2.5 or 3.0?

getting PS tomorrow, is there a significant diffrence from 2.5 to 3.0?
Should get 3.0 just because its the latest one out?

I haven't seen too many noticeable differences between the two. CS3 seems a bit more intuitive, and seems to have better integration with adobe extendscript for controlling photoshop via scripting.

I'm using CS but it may be time for an upgrade. I think I will get Lightroom before I upgrade my Photoshop though.
