Photoshop Elements 9 Technique

Hi everyone,

Does anyone know the name of the technique where you have a typical photograph and then isolate a small part of that same photo. Which would make a photo within a photo.

A better way to explain it is taking a macro shot and then displaying the full scene within the same frame.

Does anyone know the name of this technique and if a tutorial exists for Photoshop Elements 9 on Mac?
