Photoshop elements issue

I'm having a problem exporting photos from elements 12. I've recently upgraded from 11 to 12. When exporting from 11 to email the photos were fine. With 12, the photos are blurry upon opening in an email. This is happening whether or not the photo has been edited ( beyond changing to a JPEG ). I tried changing the dpi and the quality to "high" but nothing seems to work. Please tell me what I'm doing wrong.

If you look closely, it's not dpi, it's ppi. They are 2 very different units.

Neither the ppi nor the quality setting will not effect the sharpness of the photo when displayed electronically (like in an email).

Please post a copy of the photo before it is exported, and a copy after it is exported so we can see what you are seeing.
Or, tell us what the image file size is before export and the file size after export to email.

Yes ppi. I was doing it from memory. I will post the image size information before and after but how do I post the picture before exporting? Don't I have to export it to post it? The pics are automatically imported into elements from my camera. Can I import it some other way?
