photoshop or paint shop pro question

how do you do this? i am not computer smart(obviously), but i cannot figure out how to put two images together as one file... any help? i have paint shop pro x2 and CS3. either one is fine

create a new file in PS where height is the height you want and the width is the two widths added and a little more for the white space. Then put the two images onto that canvas and arrange them accordingly. Hope you understood that lol.
