I have gotten the Hasselblad bug and am putting together a kit. One thing I have discovered is that the film back is really critical to proper camera operation. I bought a film back that appears to be in really good condition - no exterior dents/scratches. Section that faces the body has intact paint and serial numbers match. One issue - unlike my other back, when I attach the back to the camera there is slight "play" between the camera body and the back. If I wiggle it a little, it then locks down and the play goes away. The release button spring might be a little "light" - I am thinking either this spring needs replacement OR whatever the "keepers" are inside the back that latch to the body might be damaged or need CLA. Is it typical with Hasselblad backs that they might need a little wiggling to lock down? Or is this a back I should avoid because it needs internal CLA?
