PhotoShop Vs Lightroom

If you're new to editing software, I would definitely recommended paying the $10 monthly for LR and PScc. PS is a LOT to learn and can be overwhelming, LR is super user friendly and easy to use, and makes editing very simple and efficient.

I've had the packaged deal since December... I have used LR 99% of the time (as I haven't tackled HDR or composites or light painting... Nothing fancy, Lightroom suits my needs quite well). It has allowed me to start using photoshop cc in small doses as needed when Lightroom isn't quite cutting it.

While there are a lot of editing options out there from other companies, you'll find most of us use Adobe. You can check out Adobe.tv for plenty of free tutorials to get you started with their software.
Personally, I use both Lr and Ps. Every image starts in Lr and is finished in Ps. Lr handles all of my image management as well. For most people however, I would say that Lr would be able to handle 99% of what you need, once you learn how to use it.

I've been using Photoshop for 7 years so I prefer that opposed to anything else, however I VERY recently downloaded Lightroom to try it out and I've found that it is very user friendly for beginners. There's a lot to learn to photoshop, but I do personally feel like it's better and gives you more options editing wise. But I have a friend who is a professional photographer and she uses just Lightroom and she gets VERY quality pictures without needing an additional editing software.

I think it's all about personal preference though. Download a trial of both of them so you can get an idea of what you want.

Thank you all i will try editing in both and see which one i like better maybe i will use both to edit thank you once again.
