( Pic Heavy ) From GBH to Newly Hatched Yellow Warbler

This afternoon's dog walk proved eventful. I found a Yellow Warbler on nest complete with a just hatched baby and 2 eggs. The hatchling and egg pics were taken with my cell phone as I did not have a short lens with me for the DSLR. Rest assured I will be taking one with me on my return to the park.

Thank you both. It was my first nesting Yellow Warbler. You can imagine how small the nest is. She built it in a wild rose on the canal bank. Seeing the new hatchling made it even better.

So far this year, I have a mourning dove, a cedar waxwing and now a yellow warbler to watch grow. Should be a busy summer!
