these pics are untouched or virgin if you will. please give your honest feedback of them as i am learning about photography. the multi colored lights were with iso at 800 on a nikon D3000 with the standard nikkor 18-55 lens. the other one of the steering wheel i cant remember what i had everything set at when i took them. the boxer ones were just me messin around but i like the way they look. again give honest critique as that will help me GROW!

1 and 2 are out of focus and the 4th the focus is on the area by the horn button which really shouldn't have been that if you were focusing on the logo in the center.

1. OOF and underexposed, but woulda been a cute shot if those were not an issue.
2. OOF and composition isn't great. Cute shot to have personally, but it does nothing for me as an outsider
3. I kinda like this shot, by far the best of the set, but not great. I would have liked to see the camera moved a tad to the left spreading the background lights out more evenly. Looks like an object that could be set up to reshoot again, could be an option.
4. Think you missed the focus on the subject you wanted, plus the subject isn't all that interesting. It's a steering wheel *shrugs shoulders*

I like #3 - I wish it was framed a little lower. Cool idea, decent result but I think you could improve the composition and a redo would be worth it.

The others are out of focus, the dog's blurry in both (gotta focus on the eyes.. sometimes the nose - I think it looks cool sometimes) and way underlit on the first. The last photo (personal opinion obviously) should be focused on the pontiac emblem.

Welcome grats on the new gear and  first post.

Eh.. I like the spacing on that kind of but the DOF and focus aren't as good as from the more 'straight on' angle. Yeah, you're focused on the 2nd one in this too. It's definitely different.

What I meant about the first one (#3) is that it might look better if the camera had just been pointed/moved down a bit (framed lower)
