I stopped on my way home from work and took a few shots from the roadside, thought I'd share. comments and C&C welcome, any advice, especially on PP is appreciated.

Horse chewing on a fencepost:

Buffalo: too much saturation? but I like the colors especially in the fur, what you you think?:

Grazing Buffalo: I kindof like this shot, but the white vinyl fence in the background bothers me a little, but I can't figure out how to fix it, I tried the chromatic aberration adjustments in Camera Raw CS4, but it really didn't do anything to it. probably needs to be straightened a little too.

The extent of back ground blur is best in the first image; if the same blur is done in other images too,i think, it would have been better; that would have partly solved your vinyl fence problem too; animals in the foreground have come out well in all

Regards :D

Thanks, I never even thought of blurring it, that might work well, all the backgrounds are simply from the lens. I'll have to try that.

edit, here's a straightened and slightly blurred version of it also did a little burn tool to take some of the extreme white out of the fence, I think its a bit better than the other one:

Saw the first one and instantly thought, that looks like Utah. Checked the location and sure enough. I have almost this exact same scene on my commute home....we should go shoot sometime. Really like the ones of the Bison. Maybe try cloning out the eartag, to give it more of a natural vibe.

Thanks! I suck at cloning at the time being, but I'm trying to work on it. I thought about trying it but didn't wan't it to turn out bad on the pics I was going to post. what part of UT are you in? I'm out around Tooele, those shots were all in Grantsville.
