Um...hello? Settings?

Here's how you retrieve your exif data (overread told me how to do this this morning):
Go to where your pictures are in whatever folder on your computer.
Open the folder>right click on a picture>go to properties>on my computer it has a tab that says "meta info" on it, I click that and it gives me all the data.
I use a Linux machine, though, so I don't know if it'll be the same for a Windows machine.

I'm looking for a program to harvest the info of all the pics. I can't copy the info from the properties and paste in here.

well let's try this:

All pics are:
Width - 3008
Height - 2000
Horizontal and Vert. resolution - 300 DPI
Bit Depth - 24
Frame Count - 1
Color Representation - sRGB
Flash Mode - No Flash
Focal Length - 0mm
F Number - F/0
ISO - 1600
Light Source - Unknown
Exposure Program - Unknown
Exposure Compensation - 0 step

1.) 1/4000 sec.
2.) 1/4000 sec.
3.) 1/60 sec.
4.) 1/60 sec.
5.) 1/60
6.) 1/80
7.) 1/125
8.) 1/125
9.) 1/60
10.) 1/60
11.) 1/60
12.) 1/60
13.) 1/50
14.) 1/80

your pics are hosted on Flickr.
If you bring a pic up on flickr, on the right there were be a blue link that says "more properties". Click on that and it should show you ALL your data.

Here is a little C&C:
The pictures seem grainy to me. I see you set your ISO to 1600 which is not necessary. Play with the IS0 settings and turn them down a bit. Try 400 next time.
Also pics 13 & 14 are under exposed so decrease your shutter speed and use a try pod.

I do have to say that pics 6,7,8,9,and 10 are my favorites.

Keep up the good work.

Thanks A4. I will have to mess with the ISO. All the pics were taken at 1600. I always forget about the ISO.

^ Trust me, I do the same thing sometimes.

The camera will, but the lens won't I have to use the lens in manual mode since it is a non-cpu lens.

Is that the reason why it's not recording your aperture setting or your focal length?

I'm assuming that when you mount the lens you have to set the lens aperture at the highest fnumber, right?
Are you then adjusting your aperture in the camera? Does it allow you to?
I'm trying to remember how I set my aperture on my D60, and I think I put it in aperture mode, turned the dial according to whatever aperture I wanted, then I switched to "M" mode.
But I think there is a separate aperture button. I just always had to do things the complicated way.:lmao:

Yeah I think that is why. I have to manually set the aperture on the lens. I can't use any mode besides manual on the camera. I don't remember of the top of my head how I mounted the lens, but that does sound about right. What do you think of the pics?
